Just when UFOWATCHDOG.COM thought it had done all of its homework and research on bogus psychic Sean David Morton, more info just keeps rolling in. You may recall UFOWATCHDOG.COM's undisputed investigation entitled The Shameless Psychic And His Prophecy Of Lies, which exposed many of Morton's claims ranging from Morton's imaginary psychic prowess to his infamous and now well refuted claim of having worked for Gene Roddenberry on Star Trek. This is the same investigation Morton miserably failed to sue this website over.
During the investigation, UFOWATCHDOG.COM simply used Morton's own biographies as source material. One biography found on the Internet listed as a "Writing/Production C.V." for Morton had the following claim listed by Morton:

While working and traveling in England, I bought the rights to this best-selling true paranormal/horror/thriller. 'The Green Stone' and it's sequel 'The Eye Of Fire' have sold over 1 million copies in the UK but has never been published in the US. US book rights ARE available.
This was one claim Morton made that UFOWATCHDOG.COM couldn't find any information on when conducting the initial investigation into Morton five years ago. But a UFOWATCHDOG.COM reader recently sent a message inquiring about Morton's claim to having the rights to The Green stone and The Eye Of Fire.
The Green Stone is a book written by Graham Phillips and Martin Keatman. The book is about the historical investigtion into a 1605 plot to kill King James I that led to the discovery of to a green stone known as the Meonia Stone, which was traditionally claimed to have once been in the hilt of King Authur's legendary sword Excalibur, however it was in the history books as belonging to Mary Queen of Scots.
The Eye of Fire details the modern day investigation into the 1865 murder of a servant girl allegedly carried out by a self proclaimed Satanist. The authors, Phillip and Keatman, contend their investigation "assumed a new and frightening dimension" that included an incident involving "disembodied breathing, flashes of electric blue light, bricks and plaster being thrown around and, most incredibly of all, a dark amoeboid mass that formed into horrific humanoid shapes." Both books were published in the UK.
Definitely the making for a film and some best selling books. But, as is the usual with claims made by Morton, all is not as advertised...not by a long shot.

The Green Stone is also mentioned briefly in Morton's current biography at his website:
" In 1985, tired of the fast paced life in Los Angeles, Sean went on a worldwide spiritual quest, which led him to England and Ireland, where he became involved with the Green Stone saga (one of the stones in the hilt of Excalibur). "
Interested in finding out more about Morton's claim, as well as the books, your UFOWATCHDOG.COM editor contacted one of the authors, Graham Phillips and inquired about Morton's claim of having world wide movie and publishing rights to the two works.
In an e-mail to UFOWATCHDOG.COM, Phillips stated, "No, no one has bought the film rights to either of these books. [Morton] was involved a bit with us, a few years after the Green Stone and Eye of Fire events occured. The book sold about 30,000 copies in the UK, and the only other place that bought translation publication rights was Japan."
Yet another in a very long line of wild claims found to not be as advertised...
