Sean David Morton grew up in an aerospace family where his father, a Navy Aviator and Korean Conflict fighter ace who was also a member of the original astronaut program. Gerard Thomas Morton, JR., became the public relations director for NASA during the glory years of the Gemini/Mercury/Friendship/Apollo programs, and later retired as Vice President of TRW. Sean still remains close to astronauts Gordon Cooper, David Scott, Gene Cernan and Harrison "Jack" Schmidtt, all childhood family friends. His mother, Maureen Kennedy Morton Salaman was director of the National Health Federation for 22 years, and is now a best selling author and advocate in the field of natural healing innovation and health freedom Mr. Morton attended the British University International School in Cairo, Egypt. He attended Stanford University, where he was part of Dr. Russell Targ's and S.R.I.'s original experiments in Remote Viewing. Sean graduated with honors from USC with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Drama and a B.A. in Political Science, including minors in Organic Chemistry and Astronomy. His graduate work includes earning a Doctorate in Theology, but his study of comparative religions took him to India to study Buddhism with the Dali Lama, and later to live and study in the T'ang Boyche Lamasary in Nepal. Since his graduation Sean has written for BUCK ROGERS, worked redeveloping STAR TREK with creator Gene Roddenberry, been nominated for an Emmy for his documentary work for KCET public television and, since 1990, turned his focus to the investigation of the paranormal and the unexplained. Sean has written award winning concepts for dozens of popular videos, has been a consultant for UNSOLVED MYSTERIES, a segment producer for the premiere episode of SIGHTINGS and was one of the original producers for the popular nightly program STRANGE UNIVERSE. He was the creator and producer of a show called DECLASSIFIED on the SCI-FI Channel and was the creator, writer and producer on the NBC action/adventure pilot "UNIT 9!" He has written two network television pilots and three feature films which are all in various stages of development. In 1990 Sean was asked to co-produce the most extensive documentary on the UFO phenomena ever undertaken. He and his crew traveled all across North and South America, Europe and over 30 countries to gather over 600 hours of filmed interviews with scientists, researchers, abductees CONTACTEES, police, politicians, ministers, priests and people from all walks of life who had one thing in common: knowledge and direct experience with the global UFO mystery. These interviews became the back bone for UFO LIBRARY MAGAZINE for which Mr. Morton was an on-going contributing writer. The UFO field has been badly fragmented by people with their sometimes jealously guarded fragments of the puzzle, and going out and talking to "Everybody" has given Sean a unique expertise and perspective on "The Big Picture." He became best known for his work in exposing the now famous top secret US government research and development testing facility in the Nevada desert called AREA 51. In 1990 Morton's crew were the first media group outside of local Las Vegas newsman George Knapp, to interview a scientist named Bob Lazar who claimed to have worked at AREA 51. Lazar claimed that the US Navy was testing super advanced flying saucers on Wednesday night at dusk, which demonstrated technology "Light years ahead of anything our science now has", and was definitely "Not of this Earth." These craft could be seen from nearby Highway 375, which, thanks to Morton's efforts, was later renamed THE EXTRATERRESTRIAL HIGHWAY by the state of Nevada. Morton began to lead the media charge to uncover this amazing secret. "I knew that this would be the camel's nose under the tent!" Morton says. "That if I could get enough people out here, ordinary folks like you and I, to see this for themselves, they would have to believe! "The importance of AREA 51", Morton explained, "is that whether or not this is extraterrestrial, or just super high tech that we have developed, if they have anti-gravity, and can travel instantaneously through time and space in the blink of an eye, then keeping this a secret is the greatest crime ever perpetrated on Mankind! This technology means the end of hunger, war, pollution and the raping of earth's natural resources. It means humanity leaping off this planet and into the stars!" In 1991 Morton began to lead groups of people out to the site to watch the Wednesday night Cosmic Airshow. In May of that year, Sean single handedly discovered a chink in the Military's seemingly impenetrable armor, by climbing a mountain top that the government failed to confiscate in it's 89,000 acre security land grab of the surrounding territory in 1988. From this peak, Morton could look right down on Area 51, from a vantage point on public land, and he was the first to film the facility. He spent many cold, frightening nights alone and camouflaged, watching the base, always fearing detection by the Black Helicopters that ominously patrol the perimeter. "This gave me a tremendous advantage as an investigator", Morton said. "I kept the vantage point to myself for about 6 months, and in that time when I interviewed people who had claimed to have worked at 'The Ranch', as it was called, and I would ask them to describe it to me to prove their veracity, as I was probably the only person alive who had actually seen the place without having worked there." When Sean went public with his discovery, the mountain top, now known as "Morton's Peak" AND "FREEDOM RIDGE" atop Whitesides mountain, became global news, and forced the military to spend millions of dollars in a campaign, vehemently opposed by the public, to confiscate the location without having to go through the US Congress. This led to the military confiscating tentacle-like strips that go out from the base and take just the tops of the surrounding hills, taking only 4,900 acres, thus escaping the need for Congressional approval. Currently, Sean, since 1993, has been publishing the immensely popular DELPHI ASSOCIATES NEWSLETTER, and has a two book deal with the M. EVANS publishing house. EVEREST VALLEY, NEPAL In 1986, Sean David lived in a Tibetan monastery at the foot of Mt. Everest for seven months. He studied the disciplines of Tibetan Buddhism with the "Black Hat" monks. Here he studied ancient history, prophecy, astral travel, planetary healing, tantric sexual meditation techniques, ceremonial dance, and many of the hidden mysteries of the Universe. He also lived in the Dali Lama's compound in Dharmsala, India, studying with him personally at the Tibetan University there. TELEVISION AND FILM BACKGROUND Sean Morton worked with Gene Roddenberry in the early 1980's in bringing STAR TREK back to TV. This work later became the basis for the STAR TREK motion pictures and STAR TREK:THE NEXT GENERATION. Mr. Roddenberry also purchased a TV series from Sean called "THE GUARDIANS" which never got produced due to problems with the studio. Sean has written concepts for music videos for the rock groups GENESIS, PHIL COLLINS, MIKE AND THE MECHANICS, JEFFREY OSBOURNE, ICICLE WORKS and many more. A program he co-produced was nominated for an EMMY in 1981. It was a PBS documentary he co-wrote called "FAIR PLAY" about professional women's sports in the US. In 1990, he was co-director and writer/producer on a television production called "UFO CONTACTEES'. Sean and his crew traveled all around the world collecting nearly 600 hours of footage, interviewing scientists, researchers, contactees, abductees, and virtually everyone of any importance in the field of Ufology on the planet at that time. The material from this work later become the basis of Joseph Randazzo's "UFO LIBRARY MAGAZINE". The interviews had been transcribed and turned into articles for the magazine, and the taped interviews were all available via mail order. He was a monthly contributing writer for this excellent publication. The magazine went defunct due to the publisher losing his home and all his files to a flood. Sean was the first person to interview Eduard "Billy" Meir in Switzerland in nearly five years. He has written a movie about him called "MESSAGE FROM THE PLEIADES" which is currently under consideration by a number of major production companies. He was also the host of his own short lived television program on THE SCI-FI CHANNEL called "DECLASSIFIED!!" Sean's interest in AREA 51 was peaked after an interview with Bob Lazar in 1990. On February 26, 1991, Sean saw the bizarre UFO craft up close when one swooped across the road in front of his car. Sean had brought a reporter for the Los Angeles Times with him on that expedition, which resulted in the first national front page story on AREA 51. Sean led hundreds of people on expeditions out to Area 51 until the UFO testing seemed to cease in early 1993. On May 31, 1991, Sean found the hill top and accompanying ridges on public land that looked right down on the base that the government STILL will not admit actually exists. This lead to global publicity for the base, making it a household word, and a multi-million dollar campaign by the military to confiscate the public peaks. Sean and his associates were the first to film the mysterious Above Top Secret facility. Later that same year, Sean organized expeditions for SIGHTINGS and Geraldo Riveria's NOW IT CAN BE TOLD but Area 51 on American TV for the first time. Sean was one of the original writer/director/producers/on-camera investigators for the nightly UPN TV series STRANGE UNIVERSE. He produced the first national programs on Pleiadian Contactee ADRAIN, and the CHUPACABRA in Puerto Rico. Sean was an investigator/writer/producer for Paramount's HARD COPY, which was the second most popular syndicated program behind ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT. In his time at HARD COPY he wrote and produced the first national stories on the 1997-1998 PHOENIX LIGHTS, the conspiracy behind the death of Princess Diana Spencer, and numerous stories on Sedona, and various New Age teachers and celebrities. From November 1998 until January 2000, Sean hosted national radio programs 6 nights a week on the Talk Radio Network and Talk America. Sean also wrote and will be directing his first feature film "HELLION" which is currently in pre-production. This film will debut next spring at the Cannes Film Festival with a nationwide theatrical release late summer/early fall 2001. PSYCHIC BACKGROUND Sean is a practiced astrologer. He has worked as a psychic and healer in both a public and private capacity. He worked professionally for three highly respected national psychic hotline services. Sean developed a network of psychics called "THE DELPHI ASSOCIATES", who specialize in month to month predictions of geological, political and economic events. Sean also has available many other books, tapes and videos ranging from UFOs to the highly sought book "Tibetan Tradition of Mental Development", the first year course notes in Tibetan Buddhism available nowhere else in the United States. UFO RESEARCH BACKGROUND Sean's contacts in the aerospace industry, space program, US intelligence and scientific community are immense, due to his father's standing in NASA ,TRW, and his TV and film background. His uncle Donald is a former Admiral in Naval Intelligence and his uncle Thomas Gillespie is currently an ELINT intelligence Major in the United States Marine Corps. In the fall of 1989 he was a member of a team of scientists that ultra-sounded the DULCE ARCHELETA MESA on the Jicarilla Apache Indian Reservation in Northern New Mexico. Using nearly 75 hours of CRAY SUPERCOMPUTER time worth tens of millions of dollars, they proved beyond any doubt that an underground base exists under the Mesa. I have video tape of the CRAY analysis which has never before been seen in public. Sean was responsible for blowing the lid off AREA 51, a top secret US military base in Nevada, where I believe the government is testing captured Alien UFO technology. He was the first person, and great risk to his own life, to video tape the base, after he discovered a remote mountain top that looks down on the facility. This location became a popular tourist attraction until the government confiscated it a several years ago. A fictionalized version of Sean's adventures appeared in the second episode of "X-FILES". Sean led over 50 tours to AREA 51, taking average people out to a place where they have witnessed the UFO phenomena first hand. Sean and his involvement with AREA 51 has been featured in articles by the Los Angeles Times, the Orange County Register, Popular Science, NEWSWEEK, and The UFO Library Magazine. TELEVISION APPEARANCES Most recently Sean has appeared on HARD COPY in a segment entitled "THE PRESIDENT, THE PROPHET AND THE SOCIALITE" because of his remarkable success in predicting the entire Monica Lewinsky affair and Bill Clinton's spectacular fall from power. Sean later went on to write and produce for the show. Sean appeared on the MONTELL WILLIAMS SHOW December 27, 1994. It was the highest rated episode in the program's history. A follow up to that program will air on Monday, September 19. Montell actually went out to AREA 51, got good footage of the base, and actually got the military to admit for the first time ever that the facility does indeed "exist!" He had a featured spot on the national CBS program "ANCIENT MYSTERIES OF THE WORLD", aired May 5, 1994. He appeared on an episode of "THE VIKKI LAWRENCE SHOW" as an expert on prophecy in general and Nostradamus specifically. He co-ordinated a piece on AREA 51 for the top-rated premier pilot FOX program "SIGHTINGS!" He appeared briefly on the program. In March of 1992, Sean was featured on Geraldo Riveria's "NOW IT CAN BE TOLD!" in an investigative news piece also on AREA 51. Sean led expeditions out to the AREA 51 location, where hundreds of people that he had escorted have had their lives changed by seeing these remarkable flying saucers for the first time. All who had been skeptics are now believers, because Sean had the opportunity to shown them first hand. The saucer sightings stopped in early 1993, when the super technology was moved to another location because of the heat and spotlight of publicity that Sean brought down on them. FAMILY HISTORY: Sean's mother is Maureen Kennedy Morton Salaman. A former dancer, model, teacher and undercover agent for the FBI. She is president of THE NATIONAL HEALTH FEDERATION, and is the author of three best selling books on health and nutrition: "NUTRITION: THE CANCER ANSWER", "THE DIET BIBLE", and "FOODS THAT HEAL". She was the founder of THE COMMITTEE FOR FREEDOM OF CHOICE IN CANCER THERAPY, and is a political activist who has been responsible for legalizing alternative cancer therapy in 36 states. She was one of the founders of The POPULIST PARTY, and ran for Vice-President of the United States in 1984 on the Populist Party ticket. His father is Captain Gerard T. Morton,U.S.N. He was a decorated fighter pilot in the Korean Conflict. He later went into training for the Astronaut program, but dropped out to become the Public Relations Director for NASA through the early years of the Friendship, Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo programs.
