1000 DAYS LATER AND STILL NO PROOF You Can't Expect Very Much From A Psychic Who Can't Even Predict The Outcome Of His Own Lawsuit 26-DEC-05 Well, here we are one-thousand days after bunk psychic Sean David Morton failed to sue ufowatchdog.com for what he claimed were "slanderous" remarks that had damaged him to the tune of one-million dollars. One thousand days later, one-hundred forty-three weeks, twenty-four thousand hours, one-million four-hundred forty-thousand minutes...however you want to say it, we sure have been waiting a damn long while for Morton to produce his evidence. Throughout the now infamous lawsuit, even after he miserably lost, Morton proclaimed he had proof of his claims and that such proof was soon to be forthcoming.
I suppose "soon" is interpreted differently from person to person, but I think most reasonable people don't associate the word soon and one-thousand days as having the same meaning. So, what happened to all this proof Morton professed to have? ufowatchdog.com is still waiting for this proof to surface, but Morton doesn't seem to be in a hurry to provide it.
Really, if Morton had proof we would have seen it a lot sooner...at least you'd think that to be the case. After all, what kind of person sues someone but then doesn't have any evidence to support their lawsuit? I'd like to think we would have seen Morton's supposed proof over a thousand days ago in court when he was challenged to produce it. All he had to do was prove that a single false statement had been made by ufowatchdog.com and he would have made his case. But Morton couldn't conjure up a microscopic fragment of evidence to support any of his claims. Not one speck of proof, not a single piece of paper, no witness, nothing.
For a few of Morton's claims, had he actually done what was claimed, he should have had no problem providing supporting evidence. And we're talking very basic evidence here realting to educational degrees Morton alleged to have, yet couldn't prove he did. If someone made a claim of having a Ph.D. or other educational credential, do you not agree that the easiest way for the person making the claim would simply be to prove said degree existed by providing a copy of it? Transcripts? A diploma? Graduation pictures? Thesis project? In all of this it seemed that a few faithful Morton fans didn't bother asking some of these very basic questions.
Don't bother asking Coast To Coast AM hosts George Noory and Art Bell for the proof. Nope, they're not at all interested in why Morton couldn't prove his own claims in a court of law, let alone his not being able to use his own self-proclaimed psychic powers to see the inevitable outcome of the lawsuit. You didn't have to be spychic to see what was going to happen.
No, Noory and Bell aren't at all concerned that Morton can't prove his own claims, some claims on which he has built his reputation as a supposed UFO researcher and psychic. Noory and Bell scurry to advertise their pseudo 'search for the truth' to the public while hawking everything from wind-up radios to prostate juice. They don't have the time to bother listening audiences with the facts.
Certainly, Noory has made his opinion regarding Morton's bogus background plain - he doesn't care. And why should Noory care, after all, he's cashing in on not only his radio gig but his latest venture in pay-per-view television: Predictions With George Noory, a program featuring the "most popular and accurate prophets and psychics of our time..." And to no surprise, Morton is featured on the program...but I thought Noory said "accurate prophets and psychics". My prediction: Morton's predictions won't come to pass and Noory will laugh all the way to the bank. Why start asking questions when it doesn't have an impact on your paycheck? That's the American way now, cash in and don't worry about it. I suppose some are confortable being shills.
A thousand days of hot air from Morton and still no proof in sight. Expect a thousand more...and then another thousand...and another thousand...and yet another thousand...
" I HAVE refuted this crap, but [ufowatchdog.com] is never going to post it. "--Sean David Morton, August 28,2003, alleging to have refuted the UFOWATCHDOG.COM investigation into Morton's many, many claims. Failing to sue someone and proving something are two entirely different matters. Morton, put up or shut up. " It is all on appeal, which I will win. " --Sean David Morton, in an e-mail stating he would win an appeal against UFOWATCHDOG.COM. The appeal was dismissed.
