Unknown Santiago - Mystery Returns After a 4-year Absence
MUTILATED ANIMALS AND STRANGE LIGHTS REAPPEAR IN QUIMILIOJ

History repeats: In 2002, mutilated cows appeared in this locality of the Dept. of San Martin, as they did in many parts of the country. Today, four years later, history repeats. Mutilated goats were found in a pen. The previous evening, local residents reportedly saw "strange" lights in the sky.

A resigned expression and serene voice reveal the fact that Juan de la Cruz Paz is no longer startled by anything a all. In 2002, two of his cows were found mutilated near his humble ranch. There were no signs of putrefactions and carrion animals did not dare touch the animals' remains. Today, four years after that disconcerting experience, four of his goats were found with the same signs of mutilation and no one can explain -- again -- what happened to them.

"Don Juandela", as he is known by the locals, lives in the Quimilioj wilderness, some 16 km northwest of Garza in the Dept. of San martin. Four years ago, this province, as well as others, made national and international headlines when bovines began turning up with mutilated vital organs [removed] with a surgical precision hitherto unseen.

With these recent discoveries, the mystery returned to Quimilioj yet again. And although don Juan de la Cruz reported that he did not officially report the cases since "it will all be for naught" as in 2002, the inhabitants of this inhospitable wilderness are concerned by the new chain of strange events that is taking place in this site and which they already endured four years ago.

Although in 2002 they preferred to keep silent about many things they saw and experienced, on this occasion, interviewed by EL LIBERAL, several residents of Quimilioj decided to break their silence and tell us about the strange manifestations of "flying objects with unusual lights."

"We Couldn't Touch The Cows Because There Was Electricity"

EL LIBERAL visited Quimilioj's residents last Thursday. All of the locals consulted on the cases involving cow mutilation in 2002 and those whose goats met the same fate a week ago, coincided in their accounts. "Strange lights could be seen in the wilderness the night before the mutilations."

When several Argentinean provinces began reporting cattle mutilations in 2002, her husband was among the first Santiago residents who reported strange cases in this province.

"The first thing he found was a dead cow missing her eyes, guts and many inner organs, but he didn't pay it much mind because it's only normal for an animal to die every so often in the fields. But when we strated seeing on TV that dead cows were being found in the same way as ours, my husband decided to file a report, because it was very strange," Graciela Paz de Lemos told EL LIBERAL.

Graciela still has vivid recollections of that first encounter with the astonishing. "When my husband found the cows, all of the locals went to the site, which is about 2 km from my house. When we got to where the animal was, no one could approach it because the current would seize you. The truth is that it scared us a lot, and we're still scared today," she added.

Graciela de lemos todavía siente temor ante el misterio y la incertidumbre.
Graciela agreed with her neighbor Ernestina about the strange lights that appeared in the wilderness always before cattle mutilations. "Every time we saw a large light in the wilderness, an animal would be lost the next day. Whenever we went to look for it, it would turn up dead and mutilated."

"The cows had their eyes well gouged-out, as if they'd removed them with a spoon. Furthermore, they would leave them like a bag, that is to say, nothing but hide, because they would remove all that was inside and left them with nothing. All of the locals felt frightened, because we still don't know what happened to them."

"We Always See Strange Lights in the Countryside"

Although four years ago, when the first mutilated cows turned up, the story did not merit greater attention by researchers, she insists. She does not doubt to ascertain that everytime that an animal is found dead under strange circumstances in the countryside, "strange lights going up and down can be seen in the wilderness the night before."

"You're the ones who published that time when the mutilated cows turned up. I remember because the animals turned dead near my house. My name is Ernestina Paz and it's a pleasure to see you here." That was how the woman who, along with her fellow residents of Quimilioj, suffered the experence finding mutilated bovines, presented herself to the team from EL LIBERAL.

Tpday, four years after that incident, Ernestina claims that "what happened at the time is also happening today." She added: "The other night we saw a very powerful light in the wilderness, several colors, going up and down. At the next day, over at Juan de la Cruz Paz's place, near my house, about four goat kids turned up dead."

Regarding these new discoveries, she remarked: "The goat kids were hollow on the inside, like the cows. It seems as though all their innards had been removed in a single go. Don Juandela didn't find traces of any other animal and there was no blood anywhere."

"That time with the cows, some people said it was Martians, because strange lights could be seen in the wild. It was as though some red-colored thing was burning. Until today, when one wakes up in the early morning, one can see something like giant lamps burning," she observed.

"But as far as I know, this isn't happening only in Quimilioj. When I worked in Garza, a little old man also had all of his sheep devoured. I say that it's something to be afraid of, because one doesn't know what it is. Even other animals are terrified, because when we found the dead cows, not even the crows would come near."

"Animals Were Left As Empty as a Bag"

A man from the deep countryside, Primitivo Paz never feared anything that could befall him in the wilderness, but the situations involving cows and mutilated goats changed his opinion. "All I can tell you is that one's afraid of what one doesn't know, or what you can't explain," he told EL LIBERAL.

This resident of Quimilioj also suffered the "terrible" experience of seeing - without knowing how their deaths occurred - dead and mutilated cows. "When the first mutilated cow showed up we were all alarmed, because we couldn't understand how it happened."

"The animals were down to pure leather, that is to say, empty inside. Furthermore, they were missing eyes and entrails. Even thought they came down from Santiago to investigate, we were never told what had happened to the animals. It's still a mystery to us today."

UFO History: The 1974 Santurce, P.R. Film

From Scott Corrales, 04-MAR-06

Every so often a little bit of UFO history comes our way. This time it takes the shape of a short videoclip of a landmark documentary produced and narrated by publicist Jorge Marquina in 1975 and bearing the title "Platillos Voladores Sobre Puerto Rico: Documento Confidencial" (Flying Saucers Over Puerto Rico: A Secret File). Appearing in the sequence of images is the 1974 UFO that appeared over the former Eastern Airlines building in Santurce -- a large district of San Juan, P.R. -- during a midnight-to-morning commercial shoot for a popular rum company.

Following Mr. Marquina's exposition of the facts, the viewer sees an airliner fly over the building, then the sudden appearance of an unexplained source of light that navigates is off camera, toward the enigmatic mountain rainforest known as El Yunque.

Marquina ends by asking: "Where did it come from? What did it come for? Where did it go?" - questions that remain unclear 30 years later.

Argentina -Major UFO Sighting
Vista Alegre's Night Was Lit by a UFO
Diario Rio Negro On-Line
November 29, 2005

Claim having seen " a bunch of lights coming out of a circle". This fact resulted in the presence of the Chief of Police and the Air Force

NEUQUEN (AN).- Luciano Manrique always thought that people were "talking guff" and the UFOs were bunk. As of yesterday morning, the boy and the majority of the residents of Costa de Reyes no longer think that way. "It was a bunch of lights of all colors, coming out of a circle that had at least 50 meters wide. All together they were the size of three large trees. It was over the river for a while and later ran about a kilometer over to the small farms. There were three of us and we followed it. Then it suddenly shot out something like many lights together and it looked like it was going to explode...we ran away quickly, followed it for too long." Luciano, 18, says he was scared despite the fact of being with his uncles, Carlos and Hilario. Everything began after 12 midnight, with lights that expanded to the very coast itself.

"I went to bed early. My uncle Carlitos (34) called me by cell phone and I went out. I always thought that UFOs were guff," said the boy from Costa de Reyes, a populated corner of the locality of Vista Alegre. There, between twelve thirty and two in the morning, an enormous light like a flying saucer appeared over one of the islands of the Neuquén River amid the commotion in the neighborhood. Curiosity and intrigue even reached the Police, which appeared en masse to witness the spectacle and, of course, to determine what was going on. "I only asked the police, [they said] that what was seen were blue and yellow lines that came out of that thing," said Antonia Quialpi, a local woman who abandoned the comfort of her bed to see the "Flying Saucer".

"I woke up on account of the squad cars. Eight patrol cars arrived in front of the race part. I looked at the commotion through the window, since when these things happen, the police can seize you as an eyewitness, and I'm not up to those transactions," said another neighbor who lives on the access road to the Costa de Reyes jockey club. The object's presence caused the appearence of Walter Cofre, Neuquen's chief of police, and of police personnel that reported in from the provincial capital. The Air Force Command in Neuquen was summoned from the police prefecture itself.

"We went after two in the morning and the personnel remained until dawn. We saw nothing and stayed until dawn. People claim having seen those lights but we could not ratify it," maintained Santiago Romero, the director of the Neuquen Airport. Costa de Reyes is located some two kilometers from the limits of Vista Alegre and its name has nothing to do with royalty. There is a resident surnamed Reyes who occupied a good segment on the coast in a place where barricades are being built to keep the Neuquen River from causing flood damage. "Nothing like this had ever happened before," said Antonia Quilapi, the historic resident of the riverside wilderness.

Yesterday, the talk of the town was the spectacle that everyone claimed to have seen in the sky. What was it? Many lights were coming and going to and from a round large object. "One of our cameras arived only five minutes late, according to what we were told. I don't know if there was something, but everyone was up in arms," said Lucio Piancola, a Channel 7 producer. Residents say that the object vanished rigth above the house of former town intendant Ernesto Meschini after having been suspended over the river. From the get-go, the possibility that it could have been a Police chopper was dismissed. Also dismissed is that any photos may have been taken from there. If the event replays itself, residents are geared up for a safari and claim that they will photograph the UFO in order to keep it from being "unidentified".

BOLIVIA: UFOs Cause Curiosity And Amazement In Eastern Region

* Channel 39 Managed to Capture Images of Five Unidentified Objects

Five unidentified flying objects (UFOs) were seen last Wednesday night over Eastern Oruro, causing curiosity and amazement in thousands of witnesses who managed to directly see those unknown images, which were also captured by Channel 39 of the Corporacion Orurena de Comunicacion (COC).

The flying objects appeared in the sky at 22:30 hours. They were two strange objects located in the eastern region that drew people's attention due to their red, green and blue lights, sequentially, and they also appeared and vanished in the formament.

The most notorious one was a silvery, circular UFO that presented two circumferences -- a smaller one located inside the object and another outisde the circumference, spinning at an impressive speed.

The spectacle drew the attention of local residents. Channel 39 staff managed to record the UFOs presence as citizens phoned the television station to describe what the could see from their respective areas. Abel Flores Mujica, one of the witnesses, manifested his surprise at having seen the unidentified object in space.

"I refer to it as an artifact, since I couldn't believe what I was seeing. My daughter went outside and I told her: "That's a UFO. She replied that it it wasn't a UFO, that it was the planet Mars that was delayed in covering space (sic). But that object had lights and it wasn't a star. Last night's event startled me and then my daughter said: "Look, it's not the only one, there are others there", and it was evident," he said.

Channel 39 journalist and show host, Pedro Rubin de Celis, said that Wednesday night's sighting confirms the theory that we are not alone in the Universe. "This has been a marvelous presence of UFOs in the firmament, and many people stepped out onto their balconies to observe this spectacle. The camera zoom has shown us, beyond the vehicle's flashes, a circle making concentric movements within other circles around the vessel and with a black dot at the center. The objects also had their own movement," he explained.

UFOs DUMP SPACE JUNK

Event Cause Commotion Among Eyewitnesses

SOURCE: El Manana (newspaper), Cd. Valles, San Luis Potosi, Story by Antonio Martinez Chavez
DATE: Sunday July 24, 2005

They were more than 10 and cast out strange objects over the Praderas del Rio and La Diana neighborhoods

Unidentified flying objects appearing in the skies over Ciudad Valles for the past 3 months have caused a commotion and a series of reactions ranging from fear to uncertainty. Their most important manifestation, however, occured on the 15th of this month at 2 p.m., when at least a dozen UFOs remained visible for nearly 5 minutes in the over the city's southwestern quarter and expelled what witnessed referred to as "space junk"

Days later, on Thursday the 21st at 10:00 p.m. this same month, a new UFO remained stationary to the south of Valles, in the vicinity of the Regional Hospital, long enough to be photographed by a photojournalist with "El Manana".

The case that has attracted the most attention due to the abundance of eyewitnesses, the time of day and the casting of unknown objects was the one that took place over the La Diana and Praderas del Rio neighborhoods.

That day, as the temperature reached 40 Centigrade, Miroslava and Luz Esmeralda Martinez Hernandez, Prof. Ruth Sandoval, Mr. Enrique Sandoval and other persons residing along 16 de Septiembre Street in La Diana discovered - while they went about their daily activities and happened to look skyward - a long row of silvery, oval shaped and semi-circular objects moving slowly to the east of Valles and over the Valles River.

"I counted some ten objects. Nine of them were small or at least appeared so at a distance. Then there was a larger one at the end of the row," said an excited Miroslava Martinez Hernandez. She explained, still overwhelmed, that some of the objects made pendulum-type motions, in other words, they rocked from side to
side "like a baby's cradle" and when they largest object appeared they surrounded it, forming a kind of ring.

"Look, they were exactly there," she said, point at a radio antenna atop a house in Praderas de Rio."I even got the impression they were studying the antenna," she added.

The account was corroborated by Luz Esmeralda, holding her child in arms while she explained the UFOs' movement and shape with hand gestures. "Yes, I also managed to see how they were shaped, moving very slowly. The largest was behind, but the one I saw was circular-shaped, like a plate," she added.

Both indicated almost at the same time that detail that surprised them the most: that the objects expelled some sort of paper or metal sheets that were red and black in color. "The red was so bright that it even hurt one's eyes... could it have been self-luminous?" wondered Miroslava.

"The objects expelled seemed to be moved along by the air, and they fell in different directions. We already went looking for them but couldn't find them."

Prof. Ruth Sanchez Sandoval, a neighbor of Miroslava and Luz Esmeralda, stated while she pointed to the clouds at the sky at the time that "frankly, it seems to me they emerged from that cloud."

She said that she was in the backyard of her house while her brother Rodrigo was inside. He had just arrived from the U.S. when the sighting occured. "I was stunned by what I was seeing, because although I'd had the opportunity to see UFOs elsewhere in the country, and even my husband Daniel Aguilar saw the army
capture one of those objects in 1968, when it fell in Oaxaca, near Monte Albán, but it got away. This was different."

What drew her attention, she explained, was that within the largest UFO there were yellow or orange lights, and the other smaller ones surrponded it. "Its as if they had been waiting and once together, began moving slowly and then vanished from sight. I wanted to record them with my brother's camcorder, but I didn't want to leave the spot to go and ask him."

Ruth Sandoval explained that when she saw the UFOs they expelled red and black colored things. "To me they were hexagonal in shape, but very thin, like paper or metal sheets, and they fell in different locations."

Facing Miroslava, Luz Elena's and Ruth's homes, Mr. Enrique Sandoval, at first hesitant, explained that he had in fact seen the very same thing as the women.

"The only thing I disagree with is the number, since I managed to see some thirty objects in the same direction. They were metallic-collored and I also realized that they threw out things after being suspended for a long time."

Prof. Sandoval explained that the UFOs were neither airplanes nor helicopters. They were noiseless, stood still in the air and then moved away slowly and then swiftly.

The mystery that occupied the minds of all witnesses - there were more, but they were not available for the interview - was the nature of the objects cast out by the UFOs.

Teacher Ruth Sandoval repeated the phrase: "Maybe they're dumpling space junk, but what if they're technological items unknown to us?"

Despite the fact that the witnesses followed the route of the objects, no one could specify exactly where they fell. It could be that they dissolved or that they were sophisticated technological items programmed to fall in certain places, in the bush or underground, so that we could not see them," they said, full of uncertainty.

ARGENTINA UFO WAVE?
Planeta UFO
18-JULY-05

According to statistical studies and the Decimal Hypothesis put forth by researcher Luis Burgos (UFO manifestations every 10 years in places prone to such visits), there is a great possibility that Argentina and its neighboring countries will become the target for new massive UFO incursions during the second half of this years. According to Burgos, director of the FundaciÛn Argentina de OvnilogÌa (FAO) headquartered in La Plata, unidentified flying objects would be mainly seen in the provinces of Buenos Aires, La Pampa, Cordoba and certain areas of the littoral and Cuyo between the hours of 21:00 and 02:00 hours.

According to his calculations, potential witnesses would see "luminous phenomena in the heavens, report creatures on the surface, would detect prints in the fields, perceive explosions at high altitude and capture photo or video evidence." In other words, events similar to the ones that occurred previously in 1965, 1975, 1985 and 1995 throughout the South A

Finally, Burgos explains that this announcement is independent of any effect on the population, whether it be the recent cinematic debut of "War of the Worlds" as well as the upcoming nearby opposition of the planet Mars to Earth, scheduled for the month of October, since these [the UFO] studies were conducted, as well as in previous years, many months in advance.

ARGENTINA - UFOs ANAD TRANSMISSION TOWERS
Raul Oscar Chaves
CiufosLaPampa - Argentina
July 11, 2005

The person in charge of a farm located in the jurisdiction of Per, Province of La Pampa, found himself witnessing the path of a low-flying luminous object that shifted colors constantly: from red to green and passing through an intermediate orange phase.

It should be noted that the farm is crossed by a 132 KV high-voltage power line that links the towns of General Acha and GuatrachÈ.

The time was 19:30 hours and Alberto S. (the witness) noticed that intense sparks and electrical arcing was taking place over the high-voltage lines in question. Filled with fear, he decided to return to the farm's residential area, where he discussed the event with other employees.

On the next day, he returned to the place where the sighting took place and found that a maintenance crew from the Administracion Provincial de Energia (Provincial Energy Administration - APE) was already on-site. The repairmen were searching for a failure detected by the control station and were trying to ascertain the precise location and cause of the interruption in the power supply. Having located it, they proceeded with the needed repairs.

The repairmen found that one of the connecting elements joining two lines had melted and shrunk lengthwise, leaving behind only a small 7 centimeter chunk. These connectors, known as "puentes" (bridges) are metallic and are normally 1 meter long and 25mm thick.

While no evidence regarding the cause of the power failure was found at first, they found a circle measuring approximately 5 meters in diameter burned into the grass (pictured left). They also found that the soil presented a high degree of hardness and compactness.

After being told of the farmhand's experience the night before, the technicians concluded that a collision must have occurred between the electromagnetic field of the high-voltage line (132 Kv) and the energy field of the unidentified flying object. The transmission tower in question has an approximate height of 15 meters and features three spacers distanced from each other by 2 meters, two on the one side and the third on its own on the opposite end.

UFO LANDING VIDEO BEING ANALYZED

CHILE, June 25, 2005-- Incredible images of an alleged UFO landing in the vicinity of Ultima Esperanza in Chile's 12th region were made known only a few days ago by the Agrupación de Investigaciones Ovniológicas de Chile (AION). This sequence of clips form part of an exclusive video taken in one of the world's southernmost locations and which show the vast amount of UFO manifestations in that territory, which is considered a UFO 'hotspot" by domestic ufologists.

This video was taken on March 17, 2004 and has been in safekeeping to date by virtue of being considered one of the most interesting items of evidence in recent years in Chile. .AION's director, Rodrigo Fuenzalida, will present a series of new documents on UFOs in Chile and the world on July 2, at 1700 hours at the Alameda Art Thater. The most significant events have been recorded in Brazil, Chile and the United States.

Evidence collected in Chile has also had considerable impact, ranging from the UFO photographed over Termas del Flaco to videos collected in the country's 12th region which are being subjected to analysis. "We are analyzing some interesting UFO video material taken in area which, to our understanding, has the greatest concentration of UFO incidents," notes Fuenzalida.

The event will take place on Saturday, July 2 at Cine Arte Alameda beginning at 1700 hours. Produced by AION CHILE and Chilecasting, coproduced by Cine Arte Alameda.

CHILE: SANTIAGO FAMILY'S PARANORMAL EXPERIENCE

A family returning home to Santiago witnessed the road and surrounding countryside become "illuminated" by a "light". They still can't explain what happened. Sunday night turned into daytime for a few moments, at least for members of the Abdo family. As they returned to Santiago de Chile from the city of Loreto, where they spent the weekend, "the road and the surrounding countryside lit up unexpectedly" only a few meters before the "Vuelta de la Barranca" roadsign.

This was the story given by the family's three members. "It was a tremendous glow that turned the area into daylight. We could see clearly to the full extent of our vision, both front and back and to the sides," said Gaby Daher, Carlos Abdo's wife and mother of "Carlitos", to the El Liberal newspaper. The vehicle's occupants explained that the "light" had a "soft sky blue color" that putatively came "from above", although they were unable to see any vehicle or figure that could be identified.

"Carlitos" remarked that he saw a white contrail on the horizon similar to the ones left in the wake of jet airliners. The car and its occupants traveled a distance of some 200 meters with "everything lit up" around them. The "brightness" disappeared as suddenly as it emerged. Darkness enveloped the road once more and the car's headlights continued to illuminate a small area of the highway. The Abdo family has still found no answer to this phenomenaon. Only a few years ago, local residents claimed having seen unidentified flying objects (UFOs).

Argentina: Mutilated Horse Discovered

A mutilated horse was found in the vicinity of the Parque Raceway, located on the outskirts of Santa Rosa (La Pampa). Its death was estimated at some 15 days.

The horse showed signs of missing its tongue and left ear. An oval-shaped incision was present on its left wither, along with another smaller one on its abdomen and still another in the anus and adjacent regions.

The absence of the anterior and posterior lymph nodes was also observed, with incisions on the animal's fetlocks, respectively.

It should be noted that there are similarities between this case and the one detected in the La Arana wilderness, where the absence of large pieces of hide on one side was documented, as well as the absence of the ears.

Argentine Hunter Has A UFO Experience

By Raul Oscar Chaves
CIUFOS - La Pampa

Location: Rural area west of Toay, La Pampa (Argentina)

Witnesses: Two

Date: December 2004

While stalking animals in a hunting preserve, two hunters witnessed a light described as "a full moon" engaging in ascent and descent movements on a hillside, subsequently coming close to the ground. The larger light – orange in color – was static while smaller multicolored lights danced around it.

It is worth noting that at the time of the sighting, there was a moment of confusion, since two "full moons" were suddenly visible: the first being Earth’s satellite and the other the unidentified flying object. It should also be mentioned that smaller lights were seen during the late afternoon, engaged in strange maneuvers. In the light of this, one of the hunters decided to leave the location, full of fear. He drove off in his pickup truck. The remaining hunter stayed back, accompanied by his powerful .30 caliber rifle with telescopic sight.

In the wee hours of the morning he was stirred from his sleep by noises similar to those of wild boar, coming from the location where they had previously found a dead cow (dead of natural causes) which they employed as bait. A distance of 80 meters separated the cow from the hunter. Hearing these growls, he focused his telescopic sight on the dead cows’ carcass, startled by the sight of a figure he identified as "an animal", surprised by its bulk and height. It was then that he decided to take the shot, hearing the characteristic noise of the impact on the body.

At that moment, the entire region became illuminated by a "very powerful light" that produced whirlwinds and dirt devils with a permanent, buzzing sound. Through his rifle’s sight, the hunter was able to see the creature again, noticing that its posterior had a tail "similar to that of an amphibian reptile".

The hunter chose to wait a prudent amount of time and kept a constant watch on the location. Later on, overcoming his initial fear, and the total silence that predominated, he approached the carcass certain that he had killed the creature he had witnessed through the scope. With astonishment, he saw that the creature he had hit with the high-caliber bullet had vanished and that the cow had been moved 90 degrees from its original position, giving the appearance of having been mutilated. No traces of blood were found in the vicinity, nor tracks or any evidence corrborating the event.

The witness comes from a line of professional hunters living in Santa Rosa, la Pampa, accustomed to the wilderness and spending nights waiting for their prey. The hunter is convinced, in his own words, that "...he had shot an extraterrestrial indisguise."

NOTE: The charcteristics described above cause us to reflect on the absence of eyewitnesses to the mutilations, the places where said mutilations take place and the circumstances employed. This is where we can see that the UFO phenomenon goes beyond the limits of both reason and our reality.

The electromagnetic spectrum visible to the human eye exists in a wavelength of between 10.6 and 10.7 meters with a frequency between 1014 and 1015 Hz. Above these frequencies, which are lower in wavelength, we find UV, X and Gamma Rays; below these frequencies and with a longer wavelength we have infrared,
microwave, shortwave, TV and FM radio waves, AM waves and longwave radio.

There are investigations aimed at an effort to collect and present a variety of manifestations which could take place in a level other than the visible and which could be employed by these intelligences to go unnoticed; some of these have already been recorded.

Mutilated Heifer In Coronel Suarez

A mutilated Aberdeen Angus heifer was found on March 24, 2005 in the town of Coronel Suarez, province of Buenos Aires (Argentina). The carcass was reported along Provincial Highway No. 85, on the shoulder.

The 3 month old animal, weighing some 100 kg. was missing its tongue and presented incisions in its anus and genitals, with a total absence of the uterus and a burst right eyeball.

The carcass also presented signs of missing muscular mass near the back of the neck; orifices were detected in the aforementioned area.

Despite the fact that rigor mortis had not set in, there were no traces of carrion animals in the vicinity and the dead animal did not present any odors or signs of putrefaction.

MEXICO: RECENT UFO REPORTS FROM MEXICO CITY

On March 20, 2005, UFO researcher Ana Luisa Cid photogrphed a spherical object in Mexico State's Tlalnepantla Municiopality. Days later, she discovered that the helicopter shown in the image belongs to the police authorities of the state in question and was flying at low altitude to monitor disturbances with area street peddlers. The spherical object became apparent when she downloaded the images to her computer.

On March 22, 2005, according to a report from aviation technician Alfonso Salazar, the Radio Red news station reported that a spherical UFO had been reported as hanging motionless over the vicinity of Tlalnepantla, Mexico State. The news was made known by Jorge Flores, a journalist and reporter for the station in quesiton, and by Guadalupe Juarez, a reporter for Radio Red's nighttime news hour.

On March 23, 2005, Alfonso Salazar and Carlos Guzmán (renowned Mexican UFO researcher) were interviewed to issue an opinion on the subject.

On Easter Thursday (03/24/05) Mrs. Malena Mendieta reported to Prof. Cid that she had witnessed strange low-flying lights near her window in the Patera Vallejo neighborhood to the north of Mexico City. These lights emitted a buzzing sound that impressed her greatly. This sighting took place during early morning hours and she was in the company of her daughter.

On Good Friday (03/25/05) Alfonso Salazar and Salvador Guerrero managed to observe and record a spherical object over eastern Mexico City that suddenly changed speed and trajectory exactly as the Crucifixion was being reenacted in Ixtapalapa.

On March 26, 2005, an aviation technician reported a spherical object emitting white lights in the city's southern region, flying at high altituded from south to north (according to a report by Alfonso Salazar).

PUERTO RICO: Route 303 Proclaimed "Extraterrestrial Highway"

[Since UFO activity began in earnest in Southwestern Puerto Rico in 1987 with the debate of the alleged UFO base under Laguna Cartagena, Route 303 has played a significant role as a site for UFO sightings and alleged alien abductions. After many years of efforts, members of PRRG have managed to secure recognition for
this two-lane highway as an "Extraterrestrial Highway". The following communiqué was received earlier today from José Martínez Echevarría of PRRG]:

Greetings to all. We are pleased to announce the news that PR Route 303, running from Lajas to Cabo Rojo, has been proclaimed an Extraterrestrial Highway.

This highway is known to many researchers in Puerto Rico for the number of accounts it has yielded, ranging from UFO sightings to alien encounters. It is a lonely road lacking any kind of electric lighting and the site where the notorious Lajas Aerostat (radar balloon) is located, allegedly to intercept the entry of narcotics into the island, although no public information or statement about the balloon's true purpose has ever been provided. The Mayor of the city of Lajas has been very concerned due to the fact that this military radar facility has never given him any information whatsoever regarding the capture or seizure of drugs in the area.

This effort, initiated by the PUERTO RICAN RESEARCH GROUP, represents the start of a world-class distinction for a road that was famous for the nocturnal vigils that took place along it and which ended with the UFO camp-outs headed by Prof. Reinaldo Rios.

The celebration will be held in Monte Indio, Sierra Bermeja, Route 303, Km 7 Hm 8 in the city of Lajas on Saturday, April 9, 2005 from 6:00 pm onward. Mayor Marcos Irizarry will be invited to present said official document, as he is the signer of the proclamation. There will be festivities and everyone is invited to attend. The highway shall be marked with the natural emblem symbolizing this achievement.

UFOs Over Mexico City Airport
From Scott Corrales
January 03, 2005

MEXICO CITY -- On December 20, 2004, the staff at the Mexico City International Airport witnessed a strange flying object shaped like a black-colored saucer with what resembled "a golden spinning top" located on its upper section. It was observed at an altitude of approximately 200 meters at 12:00 hrs.

On December 24, 2004, an aviation technician located unknown traffic flying from east to west, passing very close to an airliner inbound from South America. According to the witness, the UFO stopped and then ascended before vanishing into the heights. This event occurred at 4:30 a.m.
Subsequently, Horacio Rodríguez shot video of a cylindrical object having a metallic appearance to the east of Mexico City.

On December 27, 2004 and at 15:00 hours, a spherical white flying object was seen suspended in the sky for several minutes near the Control Tower at Mexico City International Airport. All these reports were published in the "La Prensa" newspapre dated December 30, 2004 and written by Pablo Chávez in the General Information Section. Alfonso Salazar believes that UFO phenomenon to be real, since the airport's radar has detected them repeatedly and he himself has been an eyewitness to unidentified flying objects.

Strange Photos From Uberaba Brazil

Photos taken at the Wilson Estevanovic Museum of Natural
History, in Uberaba, Brazil

Museum Curator Wilson Estavnovic Neto said that the museum, circus and itinerant theater, always operated by his ancestors, has covered all countries in the world. In these travels, they have managed to obtain - through donations - artifacts, mummies and stones of all kinds which fell from space, as well as other
interesting materials.

Alien

A strange piece drew our attention. A rather different mummified skeleton, similar to an alien: large-headed, earless, with odd-shaped eyes and mouth. All of these characteristics were highlighted by experts on the subject.

Source

Museum administrators claim not to know the provenance of the skeleton, which was discovered only recently when they tried to "de-mummify" the piece, which was probably acquired in Egypt. The specimen is on display in the museum only on Sundays and under guard. According to the owners, at least ten efforts to steal the item have been made.

To give a better idea, the skull is alsmost twice the size of an adult human skull and is rather out of proportion in relation with the rest of the body, which measures approximately 50 cm. The six-toed foot is there, mummified.

Brazil UFO Fragment To Be Analyzed
7-30-4
Terra.com.br

The Technical-Scientific Department of the Piaui Police collected a chunk of an unidentified flying object (UFO) that fell in the region after an explosion in the sky. The material shall be forwarded to the INPE (National Institute of Space Exploration) for a more thorough analysis. The Secretaray of State of Safety Matters, Menandro Pedro da Luz, has said that he himself verified the material collected and that it was no more than a piece of iron plate, measuring around one meter, that shows signs of heating possibly as a result of entering the Earth's atmosphere.

The Secretary was unable to say if there were signs of radiation on the object, but reported that the material is being sent to INPE for a more detailed analysis.

"There is an office at INPE at Navidad, in Rio Grande do Norte, or the one in Sao Luis, in Maranhao, due to the Alcantara rocket launching site. They must identify the origin and nature of the material collected," he remarked.

The Delegate of Batalha, Police Sergeant Raimundo Nonato, known as "Sargento Cajura", was frightened by the arrival of the car from the Technical-Scientific Police department to collect the object. The local population has visited the police precinct to assuage its curiosity about the object that exploded in the sky, causing a loud report and a flash in the early hours of Sunday morning. He has information that other pieces of the same material are scattered between the cities of Barras and Batalla.

17 Minute UFO Video From Comodoro Rivadavia Argentina

Source: Diario Hoy
Date: July 20, 2004

A resident of Comodoro Rivadavia claimed having filmed an unidentified flying object (UFO) over Cerro Chenque, in the vicinity of this city of Chubut, last Friday morning. Marcelo Soto claimed that the object apparenly rested on that mountain and he was able to record it from his home in the Jorge Newberry neighborhood.

The tape shows a phenomenon that is very similar to the one seen in recent days over Gobernador Ugarte (Pcia. de Buenos Aires), said Soto to a local FM radio station. The recorded image is "unedited, and from the center of the luminous sphere, which changes colors, it can be seen how other lights emerge from within."

"I didn't know what it was, but it attracted my attenion. I wanted to have the best possible image and that's why I left the camera alone, pointing to where the UFO was, and theyn I connected [the camera] to the TV set. That's when I got scared," he added.

"The object approached and receded. There was some kind of light in the center of the sphere that changed color and something that really drew my attention: other lights come out of the center of the circle toward the side.".

In this regard, the director of Comodoro Rivadavia's airport, Roberto Romero, explained that Air Force radars "have not recorded any sightings of any luminous objects, nor have aircraft reported anything like it" in recent days, adding: "If now they say there's a video on the presence of a UFO or shining object, well, then that can't be refuted."

UFO Crashes In Venezuela?
Source: Proyecto Orion
May 22, 2004

An unidentified flying object crashed last Saturday, May 15, 2004 in the vicinity of the Raul Leoni Hydroelectric Station, also known as the Guri Dam, located on the Caroni River some 100 kilometers from the mouth of the Orinoco River at Puerto Ordaz, Ciudad Bolivar (updated information).

The accident, which occurred in the early hours of last Saturday, was witnessed by workers of the dam in question and took place to the northwest of this location. Stringent security measures were taken immediately by active members of the National Guard, who proceeded to cordon off the area. The presence of U.S. personnel was also observed, a common feature in all crashes involving UFOs.

It must be noted that the Seismography Unit registered movement at the time of the unusual accident, a detail reminiscent of the Roswell, New Mexico (USA) event of 1947. With regard to an alien presence, no reports have been received at this time. Access to the crash site has been highly complicated due to torrential rains at the site during this time of year. However, accredited personnel from Proyecto Orion is on site, collecting information that shall be broadened in coming hours.

Havana Residents Claim To See UFO
SOURCE: Prensa Latina
May 19, 2004

HAVANA (PL) - In the surroundings of EXPOCUBA, a fairground located in the capital city municipality of Boyeros, several persons claimed having witnessed the presence of a UFO, according to an article appearing in the local press.

According to the Juventud Rebelde newspaper, residents of the site witnessed the descent of an alleged UFO (unidentified flying object) on Saturday, May 8, without this claim having been scientifically substantiated.

Witnesses claim that around 10:00 a.m., a small oval-shaped vessel, silver-colored and with a metallic tail, landed in open field encircled by trees on the El Pedregal farm, located in the surrounds of EXPOCUBA southeast of the city of Havana.

"I was tidying the shelves when a bright light came through the window. It was like a glowing ball with a tail in its lower section. I showed it to my mother quickly and ran outside to see where it would fall," said Raul Beltran, 17, who claims having been at the site until the UFO took off once more. "It lifted off rather perpendicularly and then left through the palm trees. It didn't make any noise nor issue any smoke. The only thing I'm sure of is its size: more or less the size of a pickup truck tire, or thereabouts."

"When my son showed it to me, I thought it was a kite or a parachutist, since skydivers drop over EXPOCUBA every so often! After, as it came down, I realized that it could be nothing of the sort, since it was smaller and glowed a lot. It looked like a mirror,"said Odalis, Raul Beltran's mother.

Remigio Sanchez, who works as a warehouseman at a school not far from where the incident occurred, claims having seen a light in the sky almost at the same time as the other spectators. "It was a powerful glow in the sky, but it was far away so I thought it was a flare. When I got to Odalis's house -- Raul's mom -- she told me that a device had landed nearby."

According to witnesses, and as Juventud Rebelde attested when it visited the site, the grass and small plants at the site where the UFO landed are somewhat burned, although it is true that the current drought at the site is causing similar things to happen at other nearby locations.

It has not been possible to scientifically confirm the presence of any UFO anywhere in the world. It is true that many people claim having seen one object or another, but strangely enough, in none of these cases is any material evidence left behind that could prove the existence of strange bodies on our planet.

According to Oscar Alvarez Pomares, a specialist in the Science Office of the Ministry of Science, Technology and the Environment: "People want to believe that other beings exist in the universe, although I am not saying that what the protagonists of this episode saw was untrue."

According to this scientist, there is an Institute for the Search of Extraterrestrial life in the United States, although none of its specialists have been able to ascertain the presence of UFOs on Earth, despite having studied several cases in which strange vehicles have landed, according to public testimony.

Theology Sees ET Life As Compatible with God

* Vicente Chafer says it would be an error to believe that weare alone.

Theology considers the exstence of extraterrestrial life and Biblical doctrine as being compatible, said theologian Vicente Chafer yesterday.

According to his theory, "it would be a delusion of grandeur to think that we are alone in the universe," adding that the Bible "already speaks of other inhabited worlds, but does not explain them as it is centered on terrestrial life."

Chafer has adapted Catholic doctrine to scientific and space discoveries having to do with the universe and acknowledges the existence of over " 200,000 galaxies, each containing over 100,000 suns. We are but a mote of dust in this inmensity," he says.

MATHEMATICS: By sheer probabilty calculations it would be safer to think that there is life on other planets than to state the contrary, but until now, the closest thing to evidence which allows for this hypothesis is the UFO phenomenon. Chafer points out that an advanced civilization equipped with spacecraft enabling it to cross intergalactic distances (the nearest star to our own is four years awaya traveling at the speed of light -- 300,000 kilometers per second) "wouldn't trouble itself to fly by, create uncertainty and vanish without further ado." Furthermore -- according to his beliefs -- the devil and sin are confined to the Earth, while the resto of the worlds would be free of both, as the Bible states. Therefore, such beings would not be interested in contacting us, if only to avoid "contagion".

These reasons lead Chafer to believe that most UFO sightings and manifestations are false, and only 20 per cent of them deserve further study. But he cuttingly declares that said beings would not be from another planet, and that their existence would be better justified believing in the figure of the devil, who has created them "to give us the hope that UFOs will take us to other, uncontaminated worlds rather than believing in the gospel of Christ."

The theologion is convinced that pure souls now dwelling in Catholic heaven shall return to Earth when the presence of both sin and the devil have been removed, since the former "no longer has access to other worlds."

Argentina: The Monte Maiz Phantom

[Note: students of ufology may recognize Monte Maíz as the scene of the Eugenio Douglass CE3K some 40 years ago, one of the most spectacular cases in South American saucer lore. There are certain points of contact between the following story and "Springheel Jack" events - SC]

A silhouette of a man who walks on rooftops, drags heavy chains and makes strange noises turned into a disquieting "phantom" that has made residents of Monte Maíz restless. As is common in these cases, the accounts of those who claim having seen or heard this ghostly shade spread by word of mouth and eventually reach local police authorities without the persons who claim having undergone the experience ever being identified. Opinions on the phantom are diametrically opposed, since some claim having seen "a figure standing over 2 meters tall, dressed in black and with spectacular agility" while others say it's all imagination. Journalist Carlos Maldoni has not hesitated to say that the culprit "is a foolish or stupid person in disguise, with a face mask, red eyes and white cape over his shoulders, who ventures out at night to terrify women living alone." Police
authorities, in any event, are patrolling the streets and listening to the stories of the terrified residents.

The peace of this 9000 inhabitant locality in the department of Union was interrupted in the past three weeks by a strange creature who wanders the night to terrify residents. It is seen in outlying neighborhoods close to the city limits, where people wait for sunset to shut themselves in their homes under lock and key.

The residents call it "the phantom". Those who have seen it say that it is a young person, very tall and slim, with red eyes. It dresses in white, sometimes black and others grey. Always wears a hat and covers its face with a mask or hood.

The sounds on the rooftops begin after 21:00 hours, as do the calls to the police. Residents claim that it walks on the roof, shuffles and runs, drags chains, scratches at windows and bangs at doors. It doesn't speak or yell - it has only been heard to laugh in dark or whistle; some claim having heard it imitate the howling of a dog.

One of the characteristics that locals coincide on it the creature's agility. "They say it runs swiftly and jumps over barbed wire fencing and walls without touching them," according to concerned neighbors. Its agility has made law enforcement's tasks all the harder, since the person runs and vanishes into the pasturelands surrounding the town. Police say it appears to have no intention to commit burglary - only to frighten. "It's a sick person that's causing residents of Monte Maiz to lose their sleep," said Sheriff Jorge Vivas.

The sheriff added: "Given its m.o., we suspect [the phantom] to be two youths with a thorough knowledge of the town and the community. [the phantom] moves very quickly and can be in two different neighborhoods within minutes. It knows which homes to upset and chooses those with single women."

In Monte Maíz the popular imagination is fed hourly with a new story and a different version of the events. There is talk of a phantom, supernatural doings and special powers are ascribed to the person. The lack of answers from the police has fed the legend.

Police units scoured the area at night and reconnoitered the outlying neighboirhoods. Since the police force is small, they have had collaboration from municipal workers and volunteer firemen. Neighborhood watch groups have also formed to spend the nights awake waiting for "the phantom" to appear. They sally forth with clubs and some weapons, which is of concern to policement. They spend the nights awake defending their homes.

Eyewitness accounts follow.

Ivana Molina: "I went out to the yard and saw a man dancing, whistling and slapping his hands. The neighbors heard similar noises. The next day, I went out the next day and the same man tried to grab me. I ran into the house and phone de police. It banged on our bathroom window and wrote "mueres" (you will die) with its finger.

Oscar Gonzalez: "I was standing in the yard and saw a shadow walking along. I could see its red eyes. We went out with another fellow to find it and [the phantom] jumped into the neighbor's yard. It was dressed in white. On the following day it whistled at us again. We went out to chase it and it
vanished.

Veronica Bertrando: "My husband saw it as it crossed the patio. He says it was dressed in grey with a hood over its head. When it went by, the dog barked, my husband went outside and it took off running. He tried to find it but couldn't find it. [The phantom] hides in such a way that no one can find it."

In a report to Radio Mitre in the city of Buenos Aires, Sheriff Vivas reported that the alleged phantom has the following characteristics:

-1.8 to 1.9 mters tall
-dresses in black
-white face (possibily a mask)
-black hat (some describe it as a gaucho hat)
-movements are generally silent
-extreme agility: jumps over fences, walls and climbs up trees
with ease
-normally appears between 21:30 and 03:00 hours

INTENSE UFO ACTIVITY AMID POLITICAL UNREST
by Hector Arturo Escalante

Venezuela's social and political situation remains tense. Hundreds of people are demonstrating up to twice a month in the capital city to publicly express their political ideals and statements. Parallel to this conflictive situation it has been possible to report UFO sightings.

Caracas, Venezuela. 2/26/04. While Venezuela's political future is debated in the streets after manifestations and streetfights between adversaries and supporters of the Hugo Chavez government, a strange phenomenon, seemingly invisible before our very eyes, has been manifesting itself in Venezuelan airspace. This is the UFO phenomenon.

UFOs in the October 28, 2003 Uprising

As can be seen at www.ovniaventura.com, on October 23, 2003 it was possible to photograph a UFO by pure chance in the skies of Caracas. While nothing was seen at the time, the camera eye managed to pick up a strange "something". It all happened at the same time that groups opposed to the Venezuelan government were meeting at squares, streets and avenues throughout the country on other to collect signatures for a possible recall referendum against President Chavez. As of that moment, all members of the "OVNI Venezuela" group have been on alert in the face of constant conflict and social unrest in Venezuela

UFOs During the January 23rd Celebrations

Two months later, a new chance photo of a UFO was taken during a renewed and well-attended social demonstration in Caracas, creating even further expectations as regards the phenomenon's manifestations. The celebration was the 23rd of January, an yearly holiday celebrated in the country since 1958 in commemoration of the overthrow of the dictator Marcos Perez Jimenez.

On this anniversary, a considerable group of Venezuelans supporting the Chavez government marched through the main streets fo Caracas to celebrate 46 years of democracy in Venezuela. Their opponents marched as well in the suburbs of eastern Caracas, but in this event, their goal was to alert the population to the alleged hazads that democracy could be facing under the Chavez Administration.

As is my custom, I took many photos of the sky, trying to locate the line of sight over the disturbance area. I took care that nothing strange should be going on around me (sic), aside to what was going on at the time. When I took the first photos, the time was between noon and one o'clock in the afternoon, and the skies were partly cloudy. On this second opportunity another "strange" thing was photographed: it was a dark, elongated object over the western area of the city, not far from the Miraflores presidential palace, an electric power station and the Cagigal Observatory.

UFOs During the Mass Demonstration of February 4

Days went by and it was time for a new and intense social demonstration. For the third consecutive time it was possible for me to obtain another UFO image. At the time, the political situation was worsening with the arrival of the expected official holiday of the 4th of February. The origin of this holiday goes back to the morning hours of February 4,. 1992, when a group of insurgents, led by Cmdr. Hugo Chavez, tried to drive President Carlos Andres Perez from office after an abortive coup d'etat. In this new image, the UFO appears to be hovering over the central districts of the city, just as a multitude of government supporters met in the La Rinconada
sector to pay tribute to those fallen during the attempted coup and conmemorate Chavez's first participation in Venezuelan politics.

When analyzed in detail we can see that this phenomenon, aside from manifesting itself coincidentally at certain moments of social stress, has certain visual similarities. When comparing the November 28 photo with the February 4 one, it is possible to see an almost exact location between the objects identified therein, as though these had never moved or rather, giving the impression that this was a strategic placmeent to carry out a mission that requires their presence during said moments. Surprising, isn't it? This is where the matter rests.

WOMAN ATTACKED BY POMBERO WAS IN THE SAENZ PENA PSYCHIATRIC WARD

The woman who claimed to have been assaulted by the dwarfish entity known as the Pombero, was a patient in the 4 de Junio Hospital's Psychiatric Ward from early morning on Friday to Monday morning. During this time, physicians were unable to complete the evaluation of her mental condition, but they believe that she suffered hallucinations common to an hysteric attack.

However, there are doubts about who inflicted the blows to her face, leading experts to believe that it could all be a case of doemstic violence, and the possibility that doctors may ask law enforcement to investigate the case, has not been ruled out. It is worth noting that Mercedes Liliana Nievas [NOTE--this is the third name given to the victim, the other two being "Lili Mederos" and "Liliana Nieves" - SC] caused a stir in Barrio Santa Teresita when she claimed having been attacked by a short, black, animal faced entity that beat her. Earlier, both the young woman's family and some neighbors reported that the roofs of their homes had been pelted with shards of brick.

When the police intervened, the woman was taken to Ward 8, victim of a nervous attack that caused hospital personnel to bind her hands and feet and administer powerful sedatives. "She left the hospital on Monday, because her family took her away. In other words, she wasn't released by physicians, because we advised her to stay longer in order to complete our findings," Dr. Ramiro Islas, head of the psychiatric unit, told NORTE.

"The evaluation was not completed, but all indications point to a hysteric attack. There are several types of hysteria, and hers was of the dissociative type, meaning that there is confabulation on her part," noted the physician.

Dr. Islas interviewed the patient on two different occasions, and says that she gave different versions each time. "The first time she said she'd fallen in the bathroom, but I didn't believe her because the injuries on her face seemed to be the product of a blow more than a fall. The second time she said it was a Pombero."

According to the psychiatrist, hallucinations of this sort are very common in hysteria cases "but what is not common is that the confabulation should involve a popular imaginary character such as the Pombero."

Finally, Islas believed that the hysteria attack could be the result "of a conflict that sometimes involves family, finances or critical situations which lead to the nervous breakdown." Consequently, there is the suspicion that domestic violence could be involved.
