The Reed UFO Fraud has taken a lot of turns in the past weeks since it was exposed in an exclusive story on UFOWATCHDOG.COM. It appears that this fraud is extensive and involves several people. One of those people appears to be Christine Fine, who described herself as the "business" manager for "Dr.Reed" and Robert "Raith."

While she remains one of the lesser known players, Fine has been involved with John Bradley Rutter (aka "Dr.Jonathan Reed") and Robert Aria (aka Robert "Raith") since this scam was first publicized on Coast to Coast AM with Art Bell. Fine was interviewed for a CNI News story . During that interview, Fine stated she had no prior interest in UFOs or aliens and that she introduced "Dr.Reed" to his co-author Robert "Raith". Fine was evasive in her answer when asked how she came into contact with "Dr.Reed." When asked about her relation to Robert "Raith", Fine stated that she and "Raith" were friends and were formerly neighbors in Seattle, Washington. Fine was living in Imperial Beach, California at the time of the interview, but later relocated back to the Seattle area.

After relocating to Seattle, Fine volunteered at the the Seattle Metaphysical Library. Soon after a chat club began meeting there and investigating the Reed UFO Fraud, Fine quit volunteering at the library. One source stated, "It was weird and no one really put it together until we found out she was involved with Dr.Reed. She quit when we started meeting there and people started asking questions about the case."

Fine apparently shares the tradition of aliases with those involved in the Reed UFO Fraud: Christine Fine, Christal Fine, Kris Fine. Fine also apparently shares the tradition of not telling the truth about her involvement with UFOs or aliens. Fine did state in that earlier interview that she had no prior interest in UFOs or aliens. Not so...

Enter P'taah, the alien entity allegedly being channeled by Jani King. For a mere $150.00 per one hour session, Jani can channel the alien P'taah and you can then "Ask P'taah your questions about life, the universe...anything!"

Fine is reported to be working for Jani, P'taah or whoever. Fine is reported to be employed in taking orders for P'taah books, tapes, video presentations, t-shirts, P'taah jewelry, meditation CDs, aromatherapy products and more. Fine is also the moderator of an electronic bulletin board system at the official P'taah website.

UFOWATCHDOG.COM decided to ask for an official comment from Fine via the BBS. The first message that was posted was deleted. Of course, a second message went up asking for comment and Fine posted the following:

"I have no comments for you, and would refer you again to the loving comments already given to you. May you embrace your fear, and if you find that you desire to understand more fully your true nature, I would be happy to assist in any way I can. If anyone here has questions concerning this "Reed UFO case", please feel free to e-mail me. I won't respond to any unfamiliar e-mails. The people posting here are known to me.

A further note - your posting has been deleted. All future such will also be deleted, as this is not the forum for your intention, and doesn't forward the actual intention of this discussion board."

So much for truth and light. Strange how Fine doesn't want to answer any e-mails from people are "unfamiliar." Perhaps Fine should take her own advice about embracing fear...a lot of other people would be scared too knowing that they got caught with their pants down standing in the middle of a fraud.

Considering Fine stated her and "Raith" were friends and neighbors, Fine then knew what his real name was and therefore knows all about this scam. Feel free to write Fine and ask her why she won't comment outside of those known to her. Also, be sure to check out the responses at the P'taah message board.

UPDATE: Fine's involvement with the Reed UFO Fraud. As noted, Fine told me that she introduced Robert "Raith" (aka Robert Aria) to "Dr.Reed" (aka John Bradley Rutter). Fine apparently made the same statement to the San Diego UFO Society. The problem here is that Rutter, posing as "Dr.Reed", told a national radio audience on Coast to Coast AM with Art Bell that he met "Raith" through a list of people he received from a scientist at a Seattle area hospital. Rutter has been claiming that the scientist was Dr.Carl Sagan. These people know no shame and I understand that Dr.Sagan's estate is not at all happy about Rutter associating Sagan's name with his deplorable and third rate con job...
