The father of rigorous scientific UFO investigation. Dr.Hynek was the chosen scientific consultant for the Air Force's UFO investigation, Project Bluebook. But after studying so many credible cases, Dr.Hynek determined the UFO subject to be worthy of scientific investigation. Dr.Hynek later founded the Center For UFO Studies (CUFOS). He also invented the classification for UFO sightings, terming the phrase 'Close Encounter' and the famous classification system. He is the author of the landmark UFO book, The UFO Experience: A Scientific Study. Dr.Hynek served as director of CUFOS until his passing in 1986.

Discovered Roswell UFO case in 1978, a fearless proponent of UFOs, has often made fools of many skeptics in UFO debates. Veteran UFO investigator who termed the phrase 'Cosmic Watergate'. Friedman uses science and common sense in his investigations. You don't have to be sensationalistic when you have as much class as Friedman.

Former NICAP investigator, historian, author of
three major UFO works (The UFO Evidence, The UFO Evidence, Volume
II: A Thirty Year Report, and Uninvited Guests: A Documented History
of UFO Sightings, Alien Encounters & Coverups) and numerous UFO
articles. Hall's
landmark book The UFO Evidence is a must-read for anyone with even
a slight interest in UFOs.

Young graced UFOlogy with his rational approach
to cases and wasn't afraid to call a case bunk. Among Young's many achievements:
Maintaining the UFO Research:
Cincinnati! website, obtaining secret UFO video
recordings from the Department of Energy, and most notably investigating
and publicizing the Trumbull County UFO incident where a UFO was sighted
and pursued by numerous police officers. Young's committment to finding
answers to the UFO mystery and his investigations serve as an example to
all just exactly what it means to be an objective investigator. UFOlogy
suffered a great loss when Young passed away in February 2005 after a long battle with leukemia

Aside from hosting two provactive Canadian-based
radio programs (the well-known and informative Strange
Days...Indeed and Mind
Shift), Knapp has dedicated many years, much
of his time and his resources into not only investigating UFOs, but also

Noted UFO investigator, researcher and author,
some call Randle the voice of reason within UFOlogy. Randle maintains that
a UFO did crash at Roswell and that bodies were discovered, but Randle discounts
some of the eyewitneses and accounts of the incident. Randle is an experienced
investigator and has a background as not only a former Army helicopter pilot,
he is also a Captain in the Air Force specializing in intelligence and he
has earned four college degrees. Randle is the author of dozen of UFO articles
and over 16 UFO books, as well as novels too numerous to count. While I
disagree with Randle about the Roswell incident in many regards, UFOlogy
needs more Kevin Randles to cut through the bull.

Director of the National
UFO Reporting Center, UFO investigator, and a
guy that can talk to you about a sighting you reported nearly 6 years ago
and tell you the details verbatim (no kidding). Davenport gives countless
hours to manning the National UFO Reporting Center's phone lines and lends
the field much credibility with not only his tact, intelligence, and professionalism,
Davenport isn't afraid to say a UFO reported was a star and isn't afraid
to say a report is something out of the ordinary. If Davenport had a motto
it would be, 'Just the facts, maam.'
